Old Windsor is a small village of some 5000 souls situated approximately three miles from the town of Windsor on the A308 Staines road. A journey from the town to the village entails crossing the famous Long Walk in the Great Park with views of the sweeping approach to the Castle on your left and the Copper Horse statue at the other end of the walk.

On entering the village the traveller comes across the licensed establishment which was known for years as the Wheatsheaf and is now called the Toby Carvery, Which has been the subject of many new refurbishments themes and images over the years, The present Carvery and Motel complex, completed two year's ago, was previously a Steak House with a "Whacky Warehouse" for the kids. This move to a Motel poses the question "Do adults in adultery have more fun than infants in infancy?" But I digress.

The first turning from the Straight Road into St Luke’s Road has now been pedestrianised and brick paved for the extent of the shopping section. It is now necessary to take the next turning right after the Toby Carvery, this leads back to St Luke’s road and bearing left at the T junction takes one up to the club premises. The right turn is restricted to residents, delivery vehicles  handicapped shoppers, also now a 15 minutes parking for shopping is in force, and contains  two grocers shops  and a bookmaker, an off-licence, a dry cleaner's, an Italian restaurant, a Pizzeria and  a Chinese Fish and Chip shop. (the paved area is dotted about with strategically placed green bollards about 2 ft high which, apart from causing people to fall over at night, we are waiting to be told the  the exact function of these spherical objects??) on turning left at the tee junction we find, on the right hand side of the road, an overseas property agent, next to this is Ajit's general store, then Albany Road, and on the opposite corner, Leo's hardware shop. Next door to this shop  is the subject of this web site.

We are ideally sited for C.I.U clubs to visit the Ascot and Windsor racecourses,  Legoland and also Windsor Castle And we are able to offer catering for outings  by appointment,  With Ascot racecourse reopening during this year any racing aficionados would be welcome to book in for a catering stop either going to or coming from this attraction.
